Andy Warhol referred to his Polaroid camera as his "pencil and paper." From these "sketches" he would develop the images for his finished paintings. The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts donated 100 of these "sketches" and 50 black/white prints to the Art Museum of The University of Memphis (AMUM) through the Photographic Legacy Program. This exhibition, curated by University of Memphis BFA graduate Christia Blankenship, features a selection from this recent donation.
